Libertarians have tried for 35 years to win freedom by winning elections. It hasn't worked. Yet most freedom activists continue to focus on winning elections because the obvious alternative — violent rebellion — is both highly dangerous and highly ineffective.

It's time to break free of the false dichotomy of ballots or bullets. This website is devoted to exploring non-electoral, nonviolent strategies to decrease the state's ability to coerce us and increase our own powers of resistance. The emphasis is on the technique of nonviolent struggle, as used by Samuel Adams, Mohandas Gandhi, Lech Walesa, and many others.
